Etlina's Principle
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Three years ago, humanity discovered a new type of living organism - a symbiotic life form called "Nox Limax". In the wild, it helped the few deep caves animals to survive in extreme conditions, using them as a host. Increased physical abilities, regeneration, gaining new unique features of other species - and this is far from the limit of It's potential.
But, one year after the successful tests, something happened that seriously changed the world.
At some point, people began to turn into slimy latex-like creatures. People, animals, flora, and even the environment - everything was devoured on the Nox's path. Whatever was deemed a threat was killed. The environment of the city and it’s neighborhood, animals, and fauna - all changed drastically, turned into a very dangerous place, like an alien planet with its flora and fauna. Tho, there were also those who were able to resist these symbiotes mentally, saving their identity and, mostly, human form. Rejected by humans and monsters, they are living in isolated territory by their own, place, which has now become a home for many - mad fanatics, shady businessman, mercenaries, and scientists.
You are the member of the HOWL Squad - special military units designed to perform tasks in conditions of increased danger. On your way you will meet many local inhabitants, most of whom may not be as horrible as they are told to be.
On your way you will find a lot of enemies and friends, and at the end decide who is the the real threat for your existence.

Some of the best renders on the site and a very interesting story, definitely worth playing
This is without a doubt, one of the most fascinating stories I have ever found... anywhere (I have about 800). I am pretty good at anticipating the story in nearly any game but this one... lets just say it is uniquely unpredictable, in a great way.
